Jess Fear is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), and Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator (NMCF) with over 12 years of clinical experience providing evidence-informed care for adults navigating PTSD, depression, anxiety, complex grief, ADHD, autism spectrum presentations, and substance use disorders. They work with adults seeking relief from symptoms, improved emotional regulation, and greater stability, as well as individuals exploring deeper purpose, life direction, and meaningful connection to themselves and their lives.
Jess brings a calm, grounded, and attuned presence to therapy, creating a safe and supportive environment that meets clients where they are and allows progress to unfold at a steady, sustainable pace. Their clinical approach blends somatic awareness, mindfulness, harm reduction, Internal Family Systems–informed work, DBT-informed stabilization skills, natural medicine and KAP to support nervous system regulation, practical integration, and lasting capacity for healing and change.
Specializing in trauma-informed care and substance use disorders, Jess supports clients across the full spectrum of recovery using practical, evidence-informed approaches grounded in dignity and respect. They are especially committed to working with individuals who have felt misunderstood or pathologized within traditional systems, including LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients. As a Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator certified through the Integrated Psychiatry Institute in Ketamine- and Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy, Jess incorporates structured preparation, steady clinical guidance, and thoughtful integration into this work. They also mentor other practitioners pursuing licensure in natural medicine and clinical facilitation, emphasizing ethical practice, clinical readiness, and meaningful, sustainable change.
With a background in teaching psychology at Front Range Community College and training clinical and addiction counseling professionals, and working with students in practicum for natural medicine licenses, Jess combines clinical expertise with relational depth, helping clients develop practical skills, insight, and self-compassion. Their presence is steady and human, holding space for clients as they navigate grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, while fostering empowerment, resilience, and authentic growth.
Outside of the therapy room, Jess is a lifelong student of yoga with over ten years of practice, and enjoys reading, woodworking, painting, and spending time immersed in nature. These passions reflect their curiosity, creativity, and commitment to living a grounded, mindful, and meaningful life.
