I believe in the power of human connection. I trained in a psychiatry residency that taught psychotherapy as the core of healing, and I continue to practice in this way. I am also a believer in the profound physical, mental, and emotional benefits of exercise, and I strive to make this a key component of my treatment plans.
In addition to treating mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders, I have a special interest in the treatment of addiction. I am licensed to prescribe Suboxone (buprenorphine) and I have seen impressive recoveries with the help of this medication.
In the interest of providing my patients the care and the time they deserve, I have chosen to not be on any insurance panels. As a non-participating provider, many of my insured patients will be able to use their insurance to be reimbursed for appointments.
I have been married for over twenty years and am a father to three girls. My experience as a father and husband informs my work with patients.
I look forward to helping you make positive and healthy changes in your life.
